WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange was released from a UK prison yesterday morning, his team reports. He had been detained for five years at London's Belmarsh Prison, fighting extradition to the US on 18 counts of leaking classified information.

Recent court documents suggest that Assange is likely to accept a plea deal to avoid further jail time.

"Julian Assange is free. He left Belmarsh maximum security prison on the morning of June 24, after 1,901 days," WikiLeaks announced on X (formerly Twitter). "After the High Court in London approved his bail, he was released and departed the UK from Stansted airport in the afternoon."

WikiLeaks attributes the success of Assange's release to a global campaign that facilitated "prolonged negotiations with the US Department of Justice, leading to a still-pending agreement."

"Our thanks go to everyone who supported us, fought for us, and remained committed to securing his freedom as he returns to Australia," WikiLeaks expressed.

A DOJ letter indicates that Assange is due for a court appearance in Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, a US territory in the Pacific, at 9 am local time on Wednesday. The letter expects Assange to plead guilty to a charge of conspiring to illegally obtain and disseminate classified US national defense information.

The DOJ expects Assange to return to Australia after the proceedings.

Under Assange's leadership, WikiLeaks published numerous classified documents, including those related to the US military actions in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as a trove of US diplomatic cables. In 2010, the organization released video footage showing a US military helicopter engaging civilians in Baghdad in 2007, mistaking them for insurgents.

In 2012, Assange hosted 'The World Tomorrow' on RT. Across 12 episodes, the show delved into various contentious issues, featuring guests such as Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, former Guantanamo Bay inmate Moazzam Begg, and former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan.

As the death-nell rings aloud on Infowars and Alex Jones, let's take a look back to 1998, when Alex Jones released his first ever feature-length documentary. It's about how America is being destroyed, not from an invading army, but from the inside by shady politicians making deals with foreign countries, that are not in Americas interests.

AMERICA: Destroyed by Design

On Tuesday, a federal court granted Texas its initial victory in a lawsuit against the Biden administration concerning a mandate from two federal agencies. This mandate was issued prior to the administration's amendment of Title IX, which expanded the definition of biological sex to encompass "sexual orientation" and "gender identity."

Title IX, a component of the Education Amendments Act of 1972, declares: "No person in the United States shall, based on sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance."

This legislation was passed at a time when athletic opportunities for women and girls were scarce. History.com notes that before Title IX, female athletes had few opportunities. The enactment of Title IX led to a significant increase in female sports participation, a reduction in the high school dropout rate among girls, and an increase in the number of women pursuing and completing higher education degrees.

The Obama and Biden administrations made regulatory attempts to redefine 'sex' to include "sexual orientation" and "gender identity," allegedly giving biological males competing in women's sports an unfair advantage, as argued by a group of attorneys general. In 2022, they contested a Biden administration initiative to reinstate Obama-era modifications to Title IX, which had been rescinded by the Trump administration.

Despite extensive opposition, including from women's organizations, the Biden administration proceeded to amend Title IX through various approaches, claiming such actions would "promote educational equity and opportunities for women and girls nationwide."

The administration suggested altering the law with a new rule and implemented mandates via the U.S. Department of Education and the Department of Justice, the bodies tasked with Title IX's administration and enforcement.

In retaliation to the suggested amendments, a coalition of 18 Attorneys General resisted, asserting that the alterations effectively "destroyed" the rights of women and girls, undermining the core principle of Title IX – biological reality.
